Khanda - Gold
The "Khanda" is an important symbol of Sikh faith and depicts the Sikh doctrine of "Deg Teg Fateh". The "Khanda" is an amalgamation of 3 symbols namely - double edged sword representing the power of truth to cut through delusions, chakkar representing unity and two kirpans signify the spiritual and secular forces influencing the soul. Though it is proudly adorned at many Gurudwaras on nishan sahib and by Sikhs on their turbans but the Khanda remains a stark reminder of values for today's generation of Sikhs and with this artwork I hope to spread this message to the world.
The artwork is handmade on a thick 300 gsm sheet with mix media including Golden Colors that shimmersin light.
